Heartburn...this early?! Anyone else?
I'm only like 5 minutes pregnant, & already am experiencing heartburn!! With my 1st, I started having heartburn about 32 weeks, and it lasted until birth!
This time, I am praying that it was just something I ate & I won't be experiencing this for the next 36 weeks!! (Although, it's been going on for 2 days now ahh!)
Has anyone else experienced heartburn early in the game? If so, has it stuck with you?

Do you find its being triggered by certain foods? I didn't have it quite as early but around 6 weeks I would get heartburn eating spicy foods or anything fried.

Re: Heartburn...this early?! Anyone else?
For me - I never had heartburn in my life except for one time as a reaction to a medication.
Both this pregnancy and last time (which ended in a loss) - I had heartburn even before I had a BFP! I had it this time only during the first two weeks or so and haven't had any since regardless of what I eat.
Hopefully this will just be an early symptom this time around for you. I have heard that sometimes women have totally different symptoms/ailments with different pregnancies.

Re: Heartburn...this early?! Anyone else?
With DS, I had horrible heartburn from very early on until halfway into my pregnancy. Everything, including water, gave me heartburn. I didn't really have it after that.
This time, I had some heartburn during the first trimester. I'm 36 weeks and haven't really had it since then.
ETA: Zantac 75 definitely helped me manage the heartburn.

With my first I had heartburn later on in the pregnancy. With this pregnancy it started really early. Everything gave me heartburn from water to spicy foods. No matter what I ate it was horrible. It eventually slowed down, and at 19 weeks it started again but not as bad. Tums helped me.

Re: Heartburn...this early?! Anyone else?
I'm around 7 weeks and while I don't have heartburn I'm having tons of burping and general indigestion. Last pg I didn't get heartburn till later on although I could see it happening earlier.

Re: Heartburn...this early?! Anyone else?
I have had terrible heartburn every single day since 6 weeks preggo. I finally caved and started prilosec at 13 weeks. and at 24 weeks I still need to take it religiously. If tums don't cut it for you then I would def go with something stronger!

Re: Heartburn...this early?! Anyone else?
Thanks for your responses ladies, they are all helpful! After reading everyone's comments, I guess I'll be stuck with this heartburn throughout my pregnancy! Zantac & tums are on the top of my shopping list! I also heard the almonds work?
