heart rates & gender
What's was/is your babies heart rate and gender. . .as a team green mommy, I'm just curious if it actual pans out that the higher it is, it's a boy.
I can't remember what Joey's # was, i thought in the 170s but I could be WAY off
this one today was 148

Re: heart rates & gender
At 7 weeks we had a heart rate of 141 and the sono tech guessed boy...stating he has a 0% accuracy rate . He said boys are lower than girls.
On a side note, my mom said her ob did a study 30 somethings years ago on this and found that there was no accuracy. I do wonder if it's different now that they can measure the hb so much earlier.

Re: heart rates & gender
Crashing, but I was team green and the heart rate was always high (in the 160's and 170's I believe). That along with every other "girl" symptom that I had, had everyone thinking I was having a .
As you know, I have a DS. I even asked the sono tech about it and she said do NOT go by that, but we still thought girl

Re: heart rates & gender
Heart rates vary so much, depending on if the baby is sleeping, playing, etc. I was hooked up to a monitor yesterday for half an hour so I got to watch bpm go up and down. It fluctuated between 120 and 155, depending on if she was moving.

My team green babies HR was always high... Turns out it's a boy! Even one of my docs said "if I had to guess it sounds like a girls HR"
