Health insurance
for those of you who are married with or without kids, how much do you pay for health insurance per month?
I know there are 100's of different plans, just wanted to get an idea of the cost.

Re: Health insurance
up until yesterday I paid just under $900 per month, my employer contributed $300 for a total of $1280 a month for a family plan We just switched & my DH's employer is paying our premium in full. We went with a high deductible & HSA account.

I am on a group plan at work. I have $200 taken out of my paycheck every other week. The premium my company pays is approx $1200-1300.

We pay for our insurance fully, not through an employer.

Re: Health insurance
Every MONTH, we pay about 100 bucks. That's for JT, Me and Ava. We have no deductibles and decent co-pays.
ETA: This includes medical, dental and vision.

Re: Health insurance
mine used to be free thru work. when I left I switched to cobra which was almost $800 a month for the 2 of us. Now cobra expired and we're w/o insurance for the first time in my life. They wanted $1700 for 1 month to get a comporable plan which was no where near comporable! They told me that my application was going to take 2-3 weeks once i filled it out and submitted it and that we had up to 90 days from the date the cobra discontinued (12/31 at midnight). so we decided to hold off and apply if we needed to. Hopefully as of 12/1 we'll be able to get benefits for $750 a month thru DH thru the freelancer's union. They've had our paperwork for days and haven't responded if we have the ok to actually apply for the insurance thru empire. I wish they'd write us back already!!!!
