HCG trigger shot question..
will i be doing this myself or will the drs office do this? (i forgot to ask) and how long did it take for the hcg to leave your system - so that you would know the difference between a bfp and the trigger?

Re: HCG trigger shot question..
I have done it by nurses (IUI was 24 hours after trigger) but I had to do it myself this past cycle at night (IUI was timed for 36 hours after trigger). If you have to do it yourself, then look up the videos on youtube, they helped me.
ETA everyone is so different w/ the trigger leaving the body, but I would wait till after 10dp trigger to test.

Re: HCG trigger shot question..
You can do it yourself or have the nurses do it. But it is very time sensitive, and they have me do it at night so I do it myself.
Everyone is different, the trigger can stay on your system 8-12 days. I test the trigger out so I know when it's out and if that line comes back after it disappeared it's the real deal :) mine is still there at 10dptrigger. If you don't test it out, I wouldn't test until 12dptrigger. First month I tested too early, thought it was something it wasn't, and I was heartbroken.
Good Luck!!!!!

HCG trigger shot question..
Did they say you Od already? Are they monitoring you with bloodwork? RE or ObGyn? If you release an egg it means you Od, and if you O it releases all of the mature eggs. If you O on your own I do not think they would still give you the trigger.

Re: HCG trigger shot question..
No i am olny finishing the clomid today - I went in on thursday and he said (my ob/gyn) that he saw 2 follicles starting on the right and one on the left - so i dont get monitored again until next week but I was worried about the timing of the eggs and their release - if u have more than one - and if I get monitored on a thursday and then say the egg(s) are not ready for trigger but then I get an LH positive over the weekend woud they be having me trigger at home or just skip the trigger and go right to IUI - I tried to ask these questons but I always feel so confused and never fully understand - then I read more on the internet and it makes me have more questions ....ugghh baby making is really tiring on the mind.....
