Having a meltdown
I know it will all work out somehow but I'm 32w and freaking out about money, paying for daycare, paying for bills, maternity leave etc. I'm going back to work ft after 12w but I won't get paid for 6 of those weeks and freaking out. Yes we have money saved but looking at all our day to day bills plus adding daycare is beginning to put me in meltdown mode. Just want to go home, pull the covers iced my head and cry.

We are going through the same thing...I will not be paid my full time on maternity leave. I am worrying about the costs. The insurance will also most likey have to be paid since I wont have enough time to cover me for 12 weeks. I hate that we as women have to go through this. I am not wondering if I should go back to work at 9 weeks after my c-section..The stress is too much!! I totally understand what your going through.

Re: Having a meltdown
I feel the same way sometimes but you have to remember that it will all work out and it will all be worth it. You will find a way to take care of it, even if it means cutting down or out some other things. At least you know you won't be going out too much at night with a new baby - so you should be saving money there! Try not to stress. Things will work themselves out. Sorry this isn't more concrete, but hope it helps a little!! :)

Having a meltdown
It will work out. The only added cost I actually feel in my budget is the daycare. Diapers and formula really aren't that much and even baby food wasn't much at all. ALways look for coupons and sales. I switched to Target formula cause it was much cheaper. I also bought Target diapers. They are great. If there is a sale then stock up on things. Just with diapers don't buy too many of one size cause you never know when they will out grow. SO I used to always buy bigger sizes at sales and then I knew I would be stuck with a box of a size I wouldn't need.

Re: Having a meltdown
I have been having anxiety too, worrying about my time off from work and who will even watch our baby when I go back to work, and how on earth I will get home early enough every day (I work late all the time). This is going to be a HUGE adjustment, I guess every mom goes through it and it's only natural to panic about it beforehand, I know I am!!
