Has anyone gotten a smiley for just one day?
Usually I test the day after I get my smiley and I almost always get another but this time I didn't is this normal?

did you test with FMU...?
maybe your surge came in the afternoon the day before you tested?... if you tested the next day you might not have any LH in your system anymore...

I really wasn't so consistent with testing the digital CBE went wacky on me and there was a book symbol what ever that means but I did have the cheap strips I used as well they are a little harder to read we have been bding everyday since Sunday !?

Oct was the first month that I used an OPK. I tested every day with the FMU and only got a smiley on one day.

Once I got my smiley I stopped testing so I don't know if I would have gotten it more than one day.

Some months I got a smiley 2 days in a row and some months I only got one. It all depends on the time of day that you are testing and the time of day you actually get your surge. THe important thing is that you got a smiley, so that is how you know that you are in fact surging.

Most everything I've read said it is most common to get a smiley for just one day.
Here's what I found on fertility plus.com
Q: I had a positive LH surge, but tested again the following day anyway. It was positive again! What does that mean?
A: This isn't a problem. You may have caught your surge on its way up and on the way down. It is more common to only get one day of positive testing, but it is not uncommon to have two days of a positive tests. Even three days isn't uncommon, but it is worth consulting a doctor in case you have high LH levels.
So it actually seems better to just get one day of a positive test.
