Hardwood Floors: Plesae post your Stain Color
My floors are getting sanded tomorrow and I need to select a stain by Friday. My taste is traditional...but I have no idea what that translates to in the hardwood world. Please post pics of your floors and tell me what color stain it is. Thanks.

We have red oak floors and the stain is Special Walnut. Sorry no pics.

Our house is a colonial, built in 1916. We had the floors refinished and used Minwax Red Mahogany to match all of our existing moldings. It is a deep rich color and we love it!!

We used Gunstock on red oak floors. We needed a close match to two other hardwoods we installed (Kempas and Brazilian Cherry). Most people are familiar with the Brazilian Cherry - it's close to that.

Jaco Bean. I wanted the darkest floors possible and its still not dark enough for me, But they look great and I get so many compliments on the floor color!!!
