Had a scare today
I was up all night with a stomach ache and nausea. Around 6 am I went to the bathroom and there was blood on the tp.
Saw ob at 11 am. Baby measured 8.4 (I was measuring 7.5 last Tuesday night). Dr said everything looked great, no sign of bleeding, and to relax. My progesterone level is nice at 29.7
How do I relax? I've had one drop of brown spotting since. I'm sure that's normal though.
I'm going away Friday which scared me a little too but I refuse to cancel. There's nothing that can be done in an emergency at this point anyway. I'm bringing my Doppler.
After over a year of infertility treatments and two chemicals, every twinge freaks me out.

It is hard to relax but try! I am the same way. I am high risk and always at doctor but was there today bc I had pain. Being pregnant is nerve wrecking but when you have been trying so long it is hard not to worry about every feeling! Hang in there and have a great trip!!!

Yes! Relax and take it easy! And not to be gross, but you said your stomach hurt...the spotting could be from hemorrhoids or straining to poop.
But be sure to take time to put your feet up!

That sh*t is no joke. Pregnancy constipation is horrible!!!!

  I don't have any advice, but it doesn't get easier. I feel that this pregnancy is so much harder than with Jack because of what happened to Meryl! I worry all the time! But then again, when they come out - the worrying doesn't stop! Enjoy your vacation!!!! I am super jealous!

Yeah I know. I try not to think about what she went through bc it will keep me up at night. My cousin too had similar experience. Horrifying.
I guess I'm officially a worrier for life now!
I'll be sure to send you pics of us on the beach ;) lol.

Yes at around 8 weeks. We weren't sure if it was related to a change in hormones since I stopped the estrogen tablets 36 hours before the bleeding started. I had bright red mucousy blood but it turned to brown pretty quickly and stopped about 12 hrs later. I had more bleeding this past Saturday and it stopped Monday but it was more of spotting and turned pink to brown again quickly. I also fell on the ice last Tuesday so it may be related to that or something entirely different.
I asked the doctor about how common bleeding is during pregnancy since it seems to happen often to women. She was vague about how common it is but did say not to wait to call the office and they would get me in for a sonogram just to make sure everything is okay. There isn't much to do at this point in the pregnancy but later on they may be able to prevent things for happening.
