Had a convo with my DH
So after the 2nd baby and Irish Twins posts, I decided to email my DH and find out what he wanted to do.
The whole time I was preggo we both said we wanted another one right away.
So I figured we are at the 6 week mark we should discuss it since it hasn't been brought up.
Well he told me he was going to bring it up to me because he has been thinking about it. So I'm going back to TTC 
Now my question is....I haven't gotten my period yet. I know you can still get preggo, but how would I know if I became pregnant if I haven't gotten it and don't get it?

i know it isn't going to be easy. i definitely am not saying its going to be. but in the end i think it will be worth it all.
my brother and i are 5 years apart and i hated it. we are just starting to get close now (I'm 24..he's 19)
granted my parents didn't plan on a 5 yr gap (my sister was 3 yrs younger but died of SIDS)

I would wait until you get your period before TTC'ing, just so you'll know for sure when you do become PG.

Yes, you can still get pregnant even if you haven't gotten your period yet. My sister is proof of that.

It can definitely happen.
When my grandmother went for her 6 week check-up after having my uncle - she was pregnant already - with my dad.
We tease him - we call him 'the love child'

Good Luck but I would also wait until you get your period that way your body also has a little more time to recoup.

Lordy - you are one brave woman. I have a one month old and a 15 month old and I am going out of my mind!!! I keep telling myself it will get better and thats it temporary but I would seriously consider how much help you'll have and know that taking care of two babies is REALLY REALLY hard!

I agree. We wanted ours closer together than we have but never got around to discussing it. If you are interested in looking at past posts, look for 2 under 2, or two under 2

Good Luck!! Mine are exactly 2 years apart and I can't imagine having them closer! My brother and I are 10 months apart and my mom said she did fine (she had 3 of us in 3 years).

Once you start, I would probably test 2 weeks after that and maybe every 2 weeks, until you get a period and have a better idea of your cycle

Wishing you lots of luck from a mom whose been there....i found out i was pregnant at my 6 week check up-totally not planned-i spent the whole 9 months in shock...it was a blessing,nonethe less-but VERY difficult towards the end of my pregnancy carrying my older son because he wasnt walking yet.
Not to mention holding an infant while having morning sickness--NOT FUN!!!
I love it now because they adore eachother&really play all day with eachother,which makes it easier for me...and having 2 in the same mode-diapers,bottles,same schedules,
its a lot of work right now but the way i look at it is its just all about them-every minute of the day-
Ive accepted that fact which makes it easier-
I definately had to put any need of mine on the back burner-which was difficult for me because I was always used to really taking care of myself!
But my kids are only 7 and 18 months so I know it will get easier(I hope!!)
The big thing is I really dont have any help from grandparents-family members-if you do that will make a world of difference...Good luck & keep taking those pregnancy tests!
