gym routine?

what is your gym routine? i dont know if im making the most of my time there.

I usually go twice a day.

In the AM I go by myself and bring the kids to the kids klub there so I usually do a class.

In the PM my hubby and I go and we usually do

Treadmill 30-45 minutes, 15 incline, 3.1-3.3 mph. That usually burns at least 400 calories plus depending on how long we go.

Then we do abs twice a week.
100 - machine crunch
50 - each side oblique

Then we do arms/chest/back twice a week. Usually 2-3 sets of 10 depending on the machine.

My hubby usually doesn't go on Fridays so we only go together 4 days.

go 5x a week...Fri and Sat are my off days.

Monday: Zumba class or if I don't make it I do 45 mins of cardio.

Tuesday: Zumba (hour class) and than 40 mins of Cardio

Wed: Zumba (an hour class)

Thursday: 45 mins cardio and 1/2 hr personal trainer.

Sun: 45 mins cardio and 1/2 hr personal trainer.

I go every day.

I run 5 days a week. ( at least 3 miles but usually more like 5, more during training for specific events).

I take 2 Spin Boot Camp classes. They are a combination of spinning and toning. 90 minute classes on and off the bike in intervals.

I do abs 3-4 days a week. I use a variety of exercises.

I also train each major muscle group (shoulders, biceps, triceps, chest, back, legs) once a week through a variety of exercises.

I should note that I am completely obsessed and in the process of becoming a personal trainer.

I go 4-5 days a week.

I do 20-60 minutes of cardio each time. (sometimes not on legs day depending on how fatigued I am!)

I weight train 4 days a week:
Legs Day
Pushing- Chest, triceps, shoulders
Pulling-which is back, biceps mainly
Auxiliary-calves and abs

I don't think it matters what others do because it depends on what your goals are and what your particular situation is. Have you met with a trainer at the gym? They usually have at least one session for free and will personalize it somewhat.
