Gut feeling/Intuition
Did anyone "know" they were pregnant before their bfp? Like had a gut feeling?
In conversation my Mom said she knew both times she was pregnant right away - she said she just felt it. She said with my sister she knew right away (I think she means the actual time that it happened - eww!  ) My Mom has a strong intuition about things though...
Did anyone have a "gut" feeling but they were wrong?
Anyone have any gut feelings now?
I don't think I will trust any gut feelings b/c I feel like when it comes to ttc it would just be wishful thinking. I do have a strong intuition for other things though but with this I don't think so.

we haven't really started trying yet and certainly haven't gotten a BFP yet, but my mom claims to have correctly predicted my gender, birthday (I was born 10 days early) and birth weight. She has "intuition" about a lot of things and so do I at times, so it's interesting to think about.
Do you have any intuition now?

I get gut feelings for a lot of things but and am usually right. However I really thought I was pregnant this time and was not. Towards the end of my cycle I started to think I wasnt though...like when I got closer to AF but I still tried to stay hopeful!
Some people do just know though! So I hope you are RIGHT!

That is crazy about your Mom! See sometimes people have a hunch and they are right...
My intuition is telling me AF will show I don't realistically think I could have gotten pregnant this easily. I think I have better odds of winning the lotto

Yes. I did have a gut feeling. I was having symptoms very similar to af but at the same time very different. I just knew something was up and about a week later when I tested I was right!

exactly! yesterday i swore AF was going to come early and nothing...last night i dreamt that i poas and it was a bfp so today i was maybe it IS possible  b/c i had my dream in my head and then i went back to feeling like no way it's possible and AF is coming
i def have had strong intuition about other things though and felt pretty certain - with this i don't think i'll ever feel certain...

I actually had some dreams that i got a  on my OPK and when i tested in the morning I did get a . It has happened twice already which was weird. I haven't had any BFP dreams yet and no intuition feeling either.

Im a pretty intuitive person but for some reason this babymaking thing is not so readable
Someone said in another post it's more like wishful thinking for me. I think IVe talked myself into pregnancy multiple times only to have AF show up a few days later... its frustrating.

With DD I didn't know, we had been trying for 6 cycles and I thought I was pg all cycles.. With this chemical in August I knew right away I was pg...and knew something was off too..now I"m in the tww and feel like I'm not, but you never know...
ETA: I correctly knew the gender of DD after an idiot sonographer took an uneducated guess at 12 week and told us it was a boy and I kept telling DH he was wrong...and boy did DH get a shock when at the 20 week they said it's a girl

Same here...With DD I had no idea, with my past chemical- I had no idea. However, I did know something wasn't quite "right" with my chemical, so in that regard, I did have a gut feeling..

this is our first month ttc...no gut feelings just lots and lots of wishful thinking. Part of me thinks AF is just late due to this is my first month off bcps and the other part of me thinks every little sign means i will get a BFP...

I usually have great intuition/gut feelings about things. I really thought for sure I was pregnant last cycle but I wasn't. From now on, I refuse to let myself analyze my "so callled symptoms" and intuitions because the let down is just too devastating for me. For now, I'm just going to go with the flow and see what happens. But good luck to you I hope you get your BFP real soon

I was actually absolutely positive that i was not pregnant... aside from all the BFN's lol... but my cousin called me the day before AF was due and told me she was preggo... so i was like well there is no way we will both be preggo together...
But the next day AF didnt show and i got a BFP lol

I go back and forth thinking I am and I'm not. Even last month when I had my chemical beforehand I had the same feeling of going back and forth. When I got my bfp with my chemical I felt like something wasn't sitting right. I think I have zero intuition with this lol. I am sure some people just know though.

The cycle I got pregnant, I had a feeling during the week that I was going to get some good news. The morning I tested, I had 2 BFP dreams  !! In fact, I wasn't even going to test that morning, I was planning to wait since it was only 10dpo (I see an RE and used a trigger shot so I knew I wasn't off on the day or anything) .......
Well, tested and BFP!
Now my intuition is telling me I will get pregnant with this next IUI but I'm not even in the 2WW yet

first time i got my bfp yes!!!
this month at first i said no, but then i was leaning toward yes, but in my head i tried to convince myself i was wrong so i wouldnt be disapointed, but i was right again!!

i agree with when i had my chemincal that i kinda knew something wasnt right!!!
this time tho, i was way more positive and altho i still bug out and get extremely nervous i have a good feeling!!

With DD I knew I was and it was my boobs that were the dead give away, I just knew something was up. With this pregnancy, I wanted to believe something was up but all the symptoms could have been AF so I wasn't getting myself excited.

When I was pregnant with my DD I absolutely, positively knew without a doubt that I was pregnant starting at 5DPO. (My DH thought I was nuts) I felt COMPLETELY different, I can't even explain it.........I just *knew*. I had a bunch of symptoms too that coincided but there was just something about myself that felt different other than just the physical symptoms. I got my BFP at 10DPO.

with ds i just knew i was preggo and i waited til the day i was due for AF she didnt show so i tested then (i dont know how i waited!)i just had a gut feeling and then came the sore boobs and i was exausted

I dont know my mom said when she was pregnant with my oldest brother she didnt know...then with the rest of us she knew...so 3 out of 4 pregancies she knew...she said now that she looks back on her first pregancy she kinda knew but didnt want to get her hopes up at the time.

A few days before my BFP I just knew I was preggo. We weren't trying and only BD'ed once that month due to an injury, the chances were slim yet I still just knew I was. I was so sure that I was scared to POAS bc I didn't want to be dissapointed if I was wrong. Finally when AF was a few days late I tested and was not shocked whatsoever!

I've always felt that I wasn't pregnant and I've always been right. Even when we did IVF and I should have been positive and tried to be hopeful in the back of my mind I just knew it hadn't worked. I'm hoping that if I do get pregnant I will have a feeling that I am before I test.
