Guess what was crawling on DH's face at 1am!
A waterbug!!! So gross! I hate living in the city!
He wakes up startled saying, "there's something on my pillow!" I think he's smoking crack...but when he turns on the light - low & behold...a big a** waterbug! It was at least 1.5"....

The kicker - there's nothing that skeeves him out more then waterbugs! He'd probably prefer to have a mouse or rat walk across his face.

The bugs are really bad this year. I live in this "super" luxury high rise and OMG the roach problem this summer has been horrible. I have had terminex out every ten days!
Make sure that you close the drain to your sinks at night and that your toilet bowl is caulked properly. That usually helps some!

omg, that happend to my DH before... it was really humid outside and we had a window open, at like 4am I wake up and I see this huge waterbug crawling on my DH's thigh... I screamed my brains out

in my 4 years of living in building- I have only seen 1- and I FREAKED- it crawled out of my knife draw- it was so gross

I'd scream bloody murder!!! First of all, to me, there's no difference between a roach and a water bug...just a nice name. So, therefore, ewwwwww!!! We're clean people, yeah, our apt. is slightly messy, but it's CLEAN!!! And we've had like 6 or 7 since June!!! And we're on the top floor!!! We've had two in the bedroom, I wasn't happy!

This is only the second one I've come in contact with in the apartment in 5 1/2 years! The other one was crawling on the kitchen wall when I was making dinner. It was just me & the dog at home and I was freaking out! I didn't think I was such a wimp...but I am and proud of it!

Oh yuck - maybe there is something wierd with the bugs this year. DH saw a giant roach in bathroom and then the next morning there were all kinds of bugs in the bathtub!
