It is the first grandchild on DHs side (and the first great grandchild for DHs grandparents) and the 6th for my mom.
ILs are beyond thrilled and I'm excited bc we are picking their "names," which will be Grammie and Pop-Pop Moustache (which will be shortened to Pop-Pop).

DS was the first grandchild on DH's side, 3rd grandson on my side.
The twin girls are the first granddaughters on both sides, but not the first grandchild for either.

The sixth grandchild on my side. The first on dh's side. I love that he can continue the family name when he has kids of his own one day. He looks sooooooo much like there side of the family too so it's nice. He's getting a baby girl cousin from Kristin and Kevin in a few weeks. We are so excited!

DS#1 was the first grandchild on both sides. He got sooooo much attention and love.
I feel bad for this new baby boy. No one seems to be giving him any TLC.  Granted he isn't born yet.

it will be the first for my parents and DH's parents! My parents are so excited- his parents don't know yet b/c his mom has a big mouth and will blab too soon (I'm 10 weeks today and we are waiting until 12 to tell everyone).

NINTH grandchild on DH side.
Needless to say... my mom is slightly more excited than DH's parents.... they seem to be like Ohhh yea sure whatever. While my mother is jumping up and down! I hate to say it, but it's not even fun to tell his parents things.... not even the sex. They were just like OK, that's nice, talk to you later, bye.
