Graco SnugRide 32 Question
I was just reading some online reviews & something raised my eyebrow. I saw a couple complaints that the seat didn't fit in the backseat of SUV's in terms that the front passenger seat had to be put all the way up.
Has anyone tried this out? Now I am contemplating going back to the normal SnugRide.

I don't know about fitting in the car, but IMO - anything thats going to hold a 32 lb. baby is going to be huge and way too heavy to carry....

I agree. We have the regular Snugride. It fits fine in both of our cars although it's much easier to maneuver in the SUV b/c the roof is higher. DS is at least 17 lbs and I'm having trouble carrying him in the car seat. I'd like to use the car seat for a little while longer, but I may have to start using the convertible seat soon. I can't imagine being able to carry a 32 lb baby in a car seat.

Re: Graco SnugRide 32 Question
Well we had the regular snugride for DD she was in it for 11 months. We have a CRV and yes the front seat was pushed all the way up. We got the snugride 32 this time - b.c I wanted side impact and the regular doesn't have that feature. Honestly we compared them side by side and the 32 is wider but really not much longer than the regular snugride. We are not planning to use it until 32 inches or 32 lbs but would like to use it for 11 - 12 months.
BBB will let you bring your car up and try it out in your car if you aren't sure. But just so you know any seat will involve moving the front seat up b.c the infant seat cannot touch the back of the front seat (and I think they recommend 1 inch).
