Governor's Island Ferry
Does anyone know how the ferry is? Super crowded? Do we need to get there super early to be able to get on the first ferry over?

Governor's Island Ferry
We went two years ago - right around this time of year. We got on the first ferry. I don't remember getting there very early or having trouble getting on. But I do recommend getting on the first one. It was so quiet when we arrived and we were able to rent surries easily and stake our claim to a secluded spot with a hammock to hang out and picnic. Later on it started to get really busy. By then, we were about ready to head back. It was really a neat place and we had a nice day.
