GOOD UPDATE My Sweet 94 y/o Auntie

Good update on my Aunt!
I never was comfortable with the things we heard about what the Dr. said about my aunt etc. Well I was right!
My take charge cousin came from Washington and got to the bottom of all
this. Turns out whoever the Dr. she saw,probably some ER doc, totally overmedicated her with strong meds and sent her home with these same meds for pain. Turns out she was having a severe adverse reaction to them! MY cousin got with her regular doc and they weaned her off those meds and she is basically like her usual self again.!
We know she probably had a small stroke which caused her fall. The rest of what happened to her really pizzes me off Healthcare for anyone who is sick, elderly etc in CA just blows.
I'm so glad my other cousin came down. She is now trying to figure out the next step for my Aunt. She lives alone in a big 2 story house on the beach so she needs to have someone with her 24/7 at this point.
I am so relieved for now!

whom I am named after had a small stroke the other day and fell down the stairs. SHe didn't break anything but is in extreme pain. The doctor's told us today they feel she will inevitably have a larger stroke and is not expected to make it much longer.
Hosipce has been called and she doesn't want to see anyone . My cousin says she just screams with pain
SHe is my most favorite Aunt ever and I am devistated right now. She is the last surviving sibling of my Dad's family.
