going off the pill...
Hi guys, this is my first time posting. I'm hoping someone can tell me if what I'm experiencing is normal b/c none of my doctors seem to have an answer for me!!!
I'm off the birth control pill for about 2 months. Ever since I've been soooo tired. I feel like I can sleep forever if I didn't force myself to wake up. I've also had a headache ever since I went off. Is it possible these can these be side effects of going off the pill??

Everyone is different when they go off the pill. This is my second month off and already this cycle is different. The first month off was crazy bloating, cramps , headaches and sleepiness. So yes, what you are experiencing can be a side effect of going off the pill. Have you actually gotten your period yet?

That is good that you are getting it. I know it takes some women months to get their first period off the pill. Has their been any change from last month or the same symptoms?

Yea, same symptoms. Crazy headaches and just sleeping like I'm dead. Getting my period but my cycles are totally out of wack and really long!!

You have been on these hormones that have been affecting your body...you have to adjust. I actually felt better when I went off of them but everyone is different...feel better

It is quite possible. My first month off of BCP was herrendous. I was so emotional and hormonal. I was crying over NOTHING!!! Never got the headaches and fatigue, but everyone is different. After the first month everything went back to normal and I feel great. Hopefully you will feel better too!!
