God parents
My mom and dad are co-godparents with my aunt and uncle for one of my cousins. I believe they did this in a Catholic church.

We are having my DD baptized in a Catholic Church on 2/10. We asked the deacon about this when we were meeting with him since we have 2 godmother's in mind and no godfather. He said it isn't allowed to have 2 godmothers or 2 godfathers. You could choose to just have 1 officially and then have the other stand with the baby at the altar - which is what we are going to do.

My son has two god fathers. I had to pay (a TON I might add) for the priest to come do it outside of the church. We did it on a beach in NJ. They will not perform baptisms inside the church with two god fathers. The ONLY reason I did this was bc I knew we would have more children and I wanted them all to be baptized in the same church.

Not in the Catholic church but why not only have one for the actual church but 2 for real life.

I wanted to have my two best friends as godmothers and when I approached the priest about it at my church, he said that the Catholic church only allowed a godfather and a godmother.
