Giving Blood??
Does anyone know if its ok to donate blood while TTC?

PS - looks like my dental issues will be resolved before i O this month - so should be able to start TTC in October as long as i heal up ok the next week -- bring on the

You shouldn't give blood while ttc. It takes atleast three to four months for your body to replenish itself. Sorry!!!

We had a blood drive at my job and when I went to donate I was turned away (nicely) when I mentioned I would be TTC soon. They said you should not risk it.

Think about it you can only give blood how often??? Thats how long it takes for your nutrients/blood supply to rebuild not to include your iron!!!!!!
