Other less common names that were on my radar that DH completely nixed....

I just had a client whose son was named Brooks....
DS's name is Caden. But a contender was Rush...
OMG, RUSH! My husband would DIE if I "allowed" that:)
I was actually the one that wanted it...
Surprising enough, it really would have fit my DS to a "T"...as much as people don't like the name (I call it queue the crickets when I mention it) They have to admit my DS could have pulled it off....

It's not unique, but I am really starting to like the name Aaron.
I LOVE Aiden/Aidan, but my DH is totally against Aiden/Aidan.
Someone said Aaron to me and really like it. But of course DH has a problem with that. We'll see what happens when I am in labor, I'll get my way if this baby turns out to be a boy.
I also really like Colin, but DH is against that one too. Pain in the butt my DH!

Looks like the names I was going to suggest were all covered.
I wanted to name my son Brady. Love it for a boys name. DH nixed it because it's my maiden name  and he said he would always think his boy had 2 last names.
Other names I like which may not be unique are Charles (Charlie), George, Harrison, Fletcher, Griffin, Piers, Brock, Archer, etc.

Deck-Lin (short i) but the emphasis is put on the "lin"
