i went nuts looking for bedding to match my bedroom as well. we have pale blue walls and a creamy/tan rug.
i would up getting a set from calvin klein (i ordered online... prob from macy's) - it is a creamy tan duvet cover with small bunches of wispy blue flowers scattered on it. i'm not big into floral, but it's not too much at all. i actually liked a lot of the calvin klein ones i saw online and a few would have gone well with the blue walls.

We have mullunger bedding by Edgewood. It is blue with browns.

Not sure how slate it is...but I have BM Gray Wisp on my walls (very porcelin blue IMO) and I got beautiful bedding at Pottery Barn. I like bedding with a variety of colors, and PB has a nice selection with blues, etc.
This is mine and our wall color is similar to the stripe in the pic.

I alwyas liked the CK ones. I had them for my old Queen size bed. And yes, they have alot of slates, without being overly floral.

Same here. My walls are a cross between a slate blue and a deep midnight blue and my bedding is sage green with pastel accents. It's a very pretty combo! :)

Mine is a little lighter than a slate, but does have a gray undertone. We have beige bedding that I already had.
