Girls who have gotten a BFP...
What day did you get it?
I told myself I would wait until my missed period to test...but of course now I am counting the days until I CAN test 
Friday will be 10 DPO...is that too early? Should I hold out till 11, 12? Any advice would be so helpful

I got my BFP with my DS (first child) at 10DPO. It was really faint, and I confirmed 2 days later with a digital.
With DD (second child) I tested at 10DPO and got a negative result. I tested again at 12DPO, 1 day late (short cycles), and got a super faint BFP, but tested positive with a digital at the same time.
I would test at 10DPO, but not get discouraged if it's a BFN. I'm notorious for wanting to test early though

If you can hold out, wait until 12DPO. But being that it is christmas this weekend, Id want to know if I could either celebrate, or move on and enjoy the holiday without wondering "am I"?

With DD I waited until The day after AF was supposed to come. It took only 2 months this time around we are already on month 5!

i would def hold out if you can.
that being said i got mine at 7dp5dt which is the equivalent of 12DPO. it was REALLY dark and from my beta the next day i think i may have gotten a faint + at 10DPO, but i also originally was pregnant with 2 so my levels were higher to begin with. if i had to do it again i would still wait until 12DPO.

I don't know when I actually ovulated, but if I were to say I would get AF on 14DPO; I tested and got a very strong BFP on 12DPO.

I would hold out if you can. 10 DPO is still very early to test.
I didn't test until the day before and the day af was due. I was 13 DPO. Wait a few more days and you should be able to get a more accurate result.

TY Girls...we are leaving for Florida the day after XMAS (12 DPO)...
Flying usually messes with AF makes her come early or late...
So I dont know if I will test in Florida or try to hold out to see if I am late (Dec 27 or 28)..

I got a faint BFP at 11/12 DPO.
If you didn't test today... then test tomorrow morning with FMU and a sensitive test.

The night of 9dpo I saw a VERY faint line. It was not fmu but I hadn't peed in like 6 hours or so- so I guess it was concentrated. That was on a $ store test and it was like 2am so I didn't go to the store for another. The next morning I bought a few tests from the pharm and all BFPS.
ETA if I tested at 2am I guess it was technically 10dpo

With DS, I got a BFN at 10DPO and a BFP at 11DPO.
I am not one to give advice on holding out since I am a POAS addict, but I think if you can make it to 12DPO without testing, your result would be more accurate.

wait!!
i tested one day after a missed period (well 1 day after i thought i would miss it since it was my first cycle off the pill)
the line was so so faint...i thought i was 4 weeks along at that point but really i was closer to 3....i'm not even sure how the test picked up the hcg b/c i am pretty sure i felt implantation and had implantation spotting the same time i tested - i thought it wasn't possible but sono tech said that it lined up perfectly and some tests do pick it up that early...
i say it's better to wait!

with my dd i got a super DARK + on 11dpo... the last few cycles ive been testing around then with bfn so this time im thinking ill wait till 12dpo. seems like thats a pretty good time!

I got a very very faint line at 10DPO and then another faint line at 11DPO when I took it in the morning so I got a digital and took it in the afternoon and it said pregnant.

i tested the day AF was due...i tried to hold off for at least a couple days after AF because we had a chemical previously and my dr. suggeseted not to test till af was a week late that way if it happened again we wouldnt be so heartbroken.... but i couldnt make it.

I got my BFP at 10 dpo. That morning, I tested and thought I had a BFN. When I looked at it again that night, I saw a faint line. Of course I tested again right away, and then it was more visible but still very faint. This is why I think it's possible to get a BFP a few days before AF is due.

I had spotting cd41, tested BFN cd42, 46, 49 and 52, and got a pretty obvious BFP on CD56.
I *think* the spotting was ovulation spotting based on my other symptoms and beta numbers.
If I O'd the day of spotting, my last BFN was 11dpo and my BFP was 15dpo. If I O'd the day after spotting, my last BFN was 10dpo and my BFP was 14dpo.
I was testing with dipstick tests or dollar store tests and didn't take a fancy test until CD56 after a BFP on the others.
