I am the opposite. I have a 6 year old daughter now and I am nervous that this baby might be a boy. Sometimes when we go to birthday parties, out to dinner, etc I see these boys running around like crazy and I think to myself "Oh Good Lord!"

Overall though --- being a Mom of a girl, I think it depends on your family and how you all are. My Dh and I are both pretty subdued people. We aren't aggressive, we are pretty tame and like to do quiet things like read and do crafts (well, me at least)...DD is kinda the same.

The little girl I babysit for is another story. She's always running around, wiping out, climbing things, she is very very active. But she gets that from her parents. Her dad is very active also.

I think it depends on your genetic composition and also the way you raise your kids.

And both little boys and little girls bring with them many individual blessings!
