Getting Worried - Please help
I may start to ramble so thank you to those who bear with me.
I am on CD 12. I have regular 25-26 day cycles with a 12-13 day LP. I don't temp so that is why I can't pinpoint exactly the day I O. I have been using the CBEFM for 4 months (currently on month 5) and I usually get a high day starting CD 8 or CD 9 and then my peaks are on CD 12 AND CD 13. Well I have been testing all week and I haven't even gotten my high reading yet. Today I should have gotten my first peak and nothing. I also used a digital OPK this morning to compare and it came up negative too.
Also, I usually get plenty of EWCM leading up to O and I had the tiniest amount the other day and that's iit. The only thing that is consistent right now is that I feel the little twinges I usually feel when I am getting ready to O.
DH and I have been BD all week. We took a break yesterday bc I figured I would just jump straight to peak today and that we would save up his supply.
The only thing I can think of is, I remember reading in TCOYF that sometimes long travel can mess up your cycles. We were just in Spain last week so is it possible that all the time change and travel messed me up?
I'm so bummed bc tomorrow I have to fly down to Miami and I'm worried that it will be during my peak days. DH said we would BD before I leave in the morning and then when I get back on Sunday afternoon, but I am just so worried that this month is going to be a wash.
Thoughts??
TIA

Do you drink a lot of water? I remember Jen posting last week that OPKs didn't work for her because she drank so much water and diluted the results!

I wouldn't worry. It's totally normal for your cycles to vary by days and besides that, O can definitely be delayed when you are stressed or traveling.

I don't drink any more than usual. Plus, I also got a low reading on the cbefm and that was with FMU. I'm gonna try another digital in the afternoon and see if that makes a difference but I don't get why I'm not even getting a high reading on the monitor

That's what I'm hoping it is. Do you think we are safe if I BD tonight, tomorrow before I fly out and then again when I get home Sunday? I'm worried that I'm gonna jump right to my peak days while I'm away. I wonder if flying affects sperm

Just know that some cycles are different from others. It's perfectly normal to have an "off" cycle every now and again.
This might just be your off cycle.

Deep breaths If I am understanding what you wrote correctly, you are leaving today and coming back tomorrow? If that is the case, then you aren't even missing a day of so this cycle certainly isn't a wash. Even if you did have to miss a day or two, it's not so terrible. Remember, sperm can live for days in fertile CM and it only takes one time and one sperm.
As far as why you aren't getting your peak reading, it could definitely be because of your recent travels. Keep testing and keep track of your CM and try not to stress if you don't get your peak reading within the next couple of days. Stress can delay Oing too. I know, easier said than done.
Here's some O dust for you

My doctor said OPK's are easily diluted, also DH's cousin (the pediatric nurse who brought me the preggs test 1 1/2 weeks ago) said that she asked other nurses about OPK's and they all said that they're not the most accurate and can easily be wrong due to factors like:
Drinking too much water Peeing too much Not holding it in long enough before testing POAS at different times of day Peeing in stream isn't as accurate as dipping the OPK in a cup
My advice-regardless of what the OPK's say just hop in the sack and alot!
Baby dust for you!

Re: Getting Worried - Please help
Thanks ladies. I got to work this morning and went straight to the bathroom and there was EWCM . I guess I am just Oing late. I bet there will be a high reading tomorrow on my CBEFM followed by my 2 peaks.
