Getting SO depressed...

UGHHH. I'm getting so depressed being stuck in the house all day during these beautiful days.

I know I know it could be much worse but I guess its starting to get to me.
I hope the next couple of weeks (OR 11 days to be exact till I'm 36 weeks)fly by so these girls can come into the world safe and sound and I can start to feel normal again (physically at least cuz I KNOW everything else will change drastically)

Bedrest has to be so dang lonely after awhile. The gorgeous weather doesn't help I'm sure.

Can you set up a lawn chair outside so you're still "laying down" but at least in the sun, maybe enjoying a good book?

I hope the next 11 days go by at lightning speed for you!

Melissa you aint kidding. I'm bored out of my mind even though I have been doing work from home. Its just not the same.
I'm going to do this tomorrow so I can enjoy the sun. I wasn't doing it because I haven't washed the backyard furniture yet but I'm just going to put a sheet over a chair and enjoy being outside.

I hope you are relaxing and feeling well!!! xoxo

Re: Getting SO depressed...

I know its easier said than done BUT enjoy these next 11 days of doing nothing, read books... sit in silence, take it all in bc as much as these little girls will be the best and become your life, life is NEVER the same and I say that in a good way. you can't do anything without thinking of your babies no matter where you go or what you do! and quiet days no longer exist.

My gf told me this when I was on bedrest ( i had a July baby) so I know the feeling of being stuck in when the weather is nice.. I swear once those girls are born its like you instantly forget about the wait and the torture before.... so really try mentally to enjoy these last days as just YOU. enjoy your own company... I sound like a corn ball I know but its really true!!

I feel the same way!! If it wasn't for everyone on here showing such great support, I'd be so depressed!! I hope to do the same thing...I want to lay outside so bad. Keeping the window open in my den and lounging on the recliner reading magazines and watching TV is not the same!! I know it will all be worth it in the end.

When does your doctor think you'll have them? My doctor thinks I'm going to make it to Father's Day (38 weeks). I'm hoping for 36!!

Hang in there!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
