Pay at the pump. And come to think of it, Ive only gotten full serve since Ive had them in the car. I hate pumping and dont go out much to use much gas so I dont mind spending more.

I always pay at the pump. I never feel comfortable leaving them in the car.

No one says you have to leave them in the car - you can take them in with you. And credit is usually 10 cents more, so it is like $1.50 difference when you fill up - I wouldn't say that is sooo much extra when gassing up your car costs like $60. And then you get the points on your credit card, so you might even be better off actually.
I usually go to a full serve gas station or get DH to gas up my car for me, but it is mostly out of laziness - the thought of paying inside and leaving DD in the car never even crossed my mind.
If I was in a situation where I had to leave DD in the car for a minute where I could see her, I would do it. We left her in the car sleeping while we ran into the house the other day - we just locked the doors. Flame away!
DD is 11 weeks old so it would be quite the hassle to bring her inside. I know it's only about $1.50 but it does add up plus its a fee we used to never have to pay before! I've paid at the pump plenty of times even before DD so it's not like I'm penny pinching but just pointing out that it stinks!

Gas Station advice...
If the gas station charges extra for credit I refuse to use credit there, because I can find another station with ccredit same rate... but remember..... some credit cards give like 2 percent back at gas stations - so its like 8 cents back on a 4 dollar gallon of gas...

I would never ever leave her in the car to go inside and pay... The savings for cash is not worth her life.

Dh finds a bp it's same price cash or credit and pumps at the pump with her in the car seat

Pay at the pump. It's too time consuming to go in there and pay with cash. Usually a line and would get stuck behind someone buying 12 packs of cigarettes and 10 drinks. No thanks! The $1.00 more spent paying with credit far outweighs the inconvenience of going IN!
