The only straw that I am grasping (and it's a reach so best with me) remember that other guy who died multiple times through trial by combats but kept coming back to life because the person was innocent? I'm hoping that's the case? They can't kill Tyrian!!

OMG. OMG. 
I was NOT expecting that at all! If it were any other show, I'd say there's absolutely no way they could kill off a character as beloved as Tyrion, but this is GoT that we're talking about.
I am so upset that Prince Oberyn did not get to avenge his sister and her children. That last scene will definitely be giving me nightmares tonight!

I agree-- on GOT anything is always possible!
Although I do think that Oberyn did get to avenge his sister and her children. He wanted the Mountain to say he killed them, he wanted to air out Tywin Lannisters dirty laundry, and he wanted the Mountain dead. All of that was accomplished in a beautiful manner by Oberyn. Too bad the most gross and disgusting scene ever in the history of TV happened after that. YUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!
Poor Tyrion. I still think there is some hope for him -- I feel like we are being set up for Jaime doing SOMETHING.

I agree 100%. While I wouldn't put it past GRRM from killing him off, I don't think that's going to happen.

I always watch GOT on the LIRR on the way to work. THANKFULLY I have figured out when to not watch. All I heard was the squish of his head....and I peaked at the screen after it happened.

The look on Tyrion's face was heartbreaking. Peter is such an amazing actor.
Props to Sansa for using her "Pu$*y control" (Insert Prince song) over Little Finger! When she walked down that staircase I said to DH, well someone looks just like her mama! ::Slow claps:: for Sansa.

I know!!! As she was walking down, I just thought to myself, GD, that girl knows EXACTLY what she's doing to him... she's been observing and watching and learning from everyone in King's Landing, she's learned how to manipulate now, and now knows she HAS to.

I was wondering the same thing, I think he's grooming him. I think he sent him out into the world so that he could rule the vail (spelling?) while he is away, also.
