Funny question: Are you a stall talker?
... as in, when you're in the restroom with a friend or co-worker, and you're each in your respective stalls, do you chat?
i walked into the restroom as a friend was walking out. we kind of started talking but then i went into the stall expecting the conversation to stop... but she kept talking so i did too.
is that weird?!

No, I'm not. I always find it weird when other people do it. However, I encounter it frequently enough to think that many other people don't find it weird...

I have done it, but its usually with friends I am really close with. I always wonder when they are talking if anyone else is waiting and listening to us
I don't think I have ever "started" the conversation though

I just did this earlier today with my Mom. 
We would never do that if someone else was in the restroom with us but we were alone and in the middle of a conversation. lol

I talk on the phone in my bathroom, but only with DH and my best friend, and they always know when im in the bathroom. And they don't care.

Haha were you in the bathroom w/ me today? I had this happen when I was in the bathroom w/ a coworker today and she asked a question as she shut the stall door so the conversation continued while I washed my hands, which I guess I found it to be odd...but she was the one in the stall and still talking so I figured she didn't mind it. We didn't chat for very long but still weird talking through the bathroom door.

Yes. The reason why is to cover up the sound of what I'm doing. If I'm alone I run the water. I have issues.

I'll talk, but only if I know the other person is a stall talker too. Some people think it's gross, so if I'm not sure, I'll wait.
It's funny though, I will not talk on my cell phone while in a stall. That is gross to me, not sure why that is and talking to someone who is pysically there is not.

Ok so does anyone else have people talk on their cellphones while going to the bathroom? There are public restrooms in our building and there are several women who are actually in the stall going to the bathroom and having a conversation on their cellphones. I think its just disgusting. I think I would be just as disgusted if I was the person on the other end of the conversation
IS it just me?
