FUNNY FUNNY story.....SLIGHT UPDATE
Soooo those of you who are FB friends with me, may have seen my post last night that read:
baby name has been picked. we are naming her Turtle Dove ;)
OK... obviously, I'm not serious.
So I just get a text message from my friend Peter. Which reads:
"Is it true or ur just f*cking around?"
I don't know what he's talking about, so I respond: "Is what true?"
He writes: "Turtle Dove????????????"
I'm dying laughing here now. And also please note, Peter does not have FB so someone must have told him, probably his GF or maybe even a friend.... but that really means it's getting around that some people believe it's true.
Now, I see this as an opportunity. An opportunity for some good fun here!!!
So I respond: "John (DH) said there's nothing wrong with having her first name be turtle"
He writes me: "what do you think you live in hollywood and got to name your kid some wacky name???? I'm sorry, I'm just shocked"
OK me I write: "meri (a friend) likes it a lot"
He writes: "its your choice, just think about when she gets older"
I respond: "I think she will like it when she's young and older"
that's the end of our convo. He was also texting DH about it and I told DH to go along with it!! The BEST part about Peter being the one to believe this, is that he has the biggest mouth!! he's going to tell EVERYONE that we are naming her Turtle Dove!!!!
IDK, maybe I'm nuts... but this is the funniest shiz to me right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SMALL UPDATE:
Sooo I wrote somewhere in here that I texted a mutual friend the story and told him to go along with it. He was on board.
OK so mutual friend just texts me that Peter wrote him to ask if it's true what John and Kerri are naming their kid.
He told Peter that it's true.
He's currently awaiting a response.
Peter started texting us about this 2.5 hours ago... and NOW he's messaging other people about it to confirm.
Seriously Peter has a BIG MOUTH!! He's going to be telling EVERYONE this!! I sense this will only get larger and that much more funnier!!!! Ahhhh!!!
My one friend tells me that my pregnancy humor is great... that it's like my humor but on crack. IDK afte this I'm thinking maybe she's right. But this really really has me rolling. DH and I have decided to do our best to really keep this going till she's born!!

I've known him since I was like 13 or so. I'm the first one from our circle of friends to have a baby... so he's probably excited. He kept telling me he really wants to babysit a lot and how good he is with kids, etc.
I thought the wink would mean I wasn't serious. But I guess no one caught that. Haha... well now It's my turn for fun!!
I just texted a mutual friend of ours to tell Peter the baby's name is Turtle Dove and to let him believe it!!!
Glad I didn't post Sukhdeep as the name on FB!!!!
ETA: Mutual friend is on board...and said "he's a gossip queen".. he is that's why it's even better that he's the one to actually believe this!!!

I was actually napping when he started texting me about it. At first I was sooo lost. But then OMG it got to the point of crying laughing!! I could barely get the words out to read them to DH. The hollywood was great!! And the "think about when she's older" part too!!!
