Friday QOTD
Happy Friday everyone!!
Today's question might have been asked already but it's always fun to see what new members think :). The question is do you think you will go for an epidural or try to go natural? :)
My answer is I'll try my best to go natural bc I've read overall it's better for mommy. How abt u?

Epidural!
My mom went natural with both me and my brother, or at least that's what she tells us lol. Kudos to those who can do it! But I don't think it's for me.

im absolutely petrified of getting the epidural and doubly petrified of the pain associated with natural child birth... lol so i think i'll go for the epidural lol

My plan is to go natural. I have always had a high tolerance for pain. But anything that is necessary for the healt of me and LO i will do.

being an OB/GYN PA, i've done and seen enough deliveries to know that i will NOT try to be a hero!

Since I have been thru this both ways, natural and with an epi....I am going to definitely get an epi if I can if I ever get pg again.

i have been in the room twice with two of my sisters and have never seen people in so much pain in my life beggin and pleading for a epi...
after they had it they transformed into happy people loving everything in life..
so if i ever had a doubt in my mind..it was gone after that..load me up on drugs
i later asked my sister to describe how it felt and she said..like someone was ripping my insides out with a knife she was in abor for almost 24 hrs though

wahhhh one of my friends described the pain as incredible pressure like constipation x infinity!

I had never considered going natural much and always assumed why take the pain when you can get an epidural. Well I just watched the documentary Pregnant in America and it opened my eyes a bit. If you're interested, you can stream it on Netflix, but I'll warn you all it's kinda scary to watch!
I definitely want to go as natural as I can, meaning not getting induced and holding out as long as I can. In the end, I'm pretty sure I'll end up with an epidural!
