Friday QOTD
happy friday, ladies!
my question for the day: who are the people you think will be most involved when LO comes along?
i know my MIL is going to be a staple. i'm hoping my brother will be more family oriented when he has a niece or nephew. i'm looking forward to play dates with my mom friends (i'm behind a lot of them with the family thing) and my cousin, who already has children and a brand-new baby.

My parents, they live in MD, but they will be the most amazing and dedicated grandparents.
MIL- she's already talking about it, and doesn't even know we are TTCing.
Not sure about FIL, he and DH aren't close, but a baby could change that.
My sister is only 21, and in MD, so while she is going to be an amazing aunt, she has her own life to focus on, which is what I want her to do.
BILs, again same as FIL.
Oh and one of DH's aunts will be amazing too, I know it.

my parents. they adore each and every one of their grandkids (my 2 sisters have 2 each) and care for them like their own. even though my parents are getting up there in age (theyre both 67) i know they will do the same for our kids.

we're lucky to have a lot of support living around us. (wanted or not lol) so there will be grandparents, aunts and uncles and a lot of cousins who cannot wait for us to have a LO already... so it will be nice :)

def my mom! she is going to be obsessed with my kid, and she is prob the one i would trust most with him/her so she will be happy!!
DH's family are weird and im going to say that they will not be as involved with our children as my family will be...

both of our parents will definitely be involved. I think we will have to fight off ILs bc they are dying for a grandchild and if we have one they'd be ecstatic and will want to be around all the time.

besides us, my parents without a doubt. I think DH's parents will be involved but not as much, they are a bit older. My brother is away at school, but I know he will be a huge, huge part of our LO's life..

My IL's will def be all over that kid....it will be their first. I think once the kid gets older like 2-3 yrs old my BIL will be very active in its life. Thats really it....I really don't have family except my SIL & her husband but they have 3 kids of their own & have very demanding jobs so I dont see them being extremely involved.

My in-laws live in Philly but I know they'll help whenever we need them. My sisters who live around the corner will be the most helpful.

I honesly have no idea. I know that my parents would love to be there 24/7 but thery are in NY and Im on the west coast.
DH's parents are deceased and his brother and sister have their own families. They barely bother with us now.
I guess we are just going to rely on each other big time!

MIL, mom, dad, sisters. In that order. it's MIL's first grandchild, whereas my parents have so many, and my sisters have their own kids so there is no novelty.
luckily my MIL is awesome, and I"m glad she'll be excited even if my family won't be as much.

i don't know...
the only family we have down here is my parents and sister and i'm not sure how involved they will be....my parents still work and they live 40 mins away... they aren't really the type to be "involved" and i have no idea what to expect from them...
so just DH and I guess

Definitely my mom and MIL since both are bursting with anticipation of being a grandmother! My dad and FIL of course too as well as my two SILs! I'm hoping my sister will be lured back across the country by a LO. Other than that, I'm hoping our extended families and friends will be around a lot. I loved having a big extended family growing up and I hope my LOs will too.
