friday morning chat!!!!!

ok, i decided to come and do the chat on here this morning if thats ok... whats everyone up to? me, today, i have to go to urologist with dh because turns out he has a prostate infection but has been having bad paind in his lower back for a week now and they found blood in his urine. so off to urologist we go to see whats wrong now. never a dull moment. oh, then after that, this afternoon, we go to attorney to sign contract on house we are buying!!!! first comes house, then comes baby?

Sorry your husband is not feeling well. Which urologist is he seeing? My husband sees Dr. Melinger in Garden City and really likes him a lot....if you ever want his info let me know.

Hmm what am I up to.....well today me and DH have a 2pm appt with Dr. Braverman to discuss our options....we will probbaly be moving on to IVF. I was really leaing against it but I was talking to my bff this morning on the way to work and she talked some sense into me....so we'll see what happens

hes seeing dr nejat in garden city on franklin avenue. dr braverman recommended the practice... so we'll see. thanks for the recommendation..

in the meantime, good luck with dr b! i know its hard to grasp going the route of ivf but it seems to be the best way for many! good luck with whatever you decide. follow your heart!!!

Good Luck ladies. I dont have much going on today. Got the call from Dr B yesterday that I am yet again, not pregnant, but I didn't expect to be. Of course I was still heartbroken and a "friend" of mine said the most insensative thing which made me furious and I wanted to flip a table at her like Theresa from Real Housewives NJ but I kept my cool and said nothing. With everything thing that occurred this past cycle and a half I knew my chances were slim to none. I am now anxiously awaiting AF so I can get started on a fresh cycle, hopefully make some good follies. Praying that the trigger and BD'ing dont fall when DH will be away.
Tonight I am working, off tomorrow night and seeing The Hangover with the girls and DH, can't wait!
Then BBQ at my parents house on Sunday.

Hey there...


We're not doing much this weekend. DH is home from work today so I'll probably have to spend the weekend cleaning up whatever messes he makes today.

Aside from that, I have a hair appt on Sunday and also get to start Endometrin for the first time---what fun!

We're also trying to buy a house----the mortgage has been in limbo for the past two months. We're supposed to close in July. I am seriously that it works out and we are able to get the house. I think we're supposed to hear today.

Saw the RE this morning. Got more blood drawn and another sono for the second time this week. My cycle is being funky this month and it is CD18 and looks like I still haven't O'd. I was pretty upset last night. I am beginning to feel apathetic to this whole process

Thanks ladies! You are all so sweet, I don't know what I'd do without you. No one IRL seems to get it, even the ones who have been thru it themselves. This is physically and emotionally draining somedays, but I get thru it because of all of you. Oxoxoxox

I started BCPs this week and will be starting Lupron in about 2 weeks for my first IVF cycle so scary to say that but I'm hoping it's not too bad. We have to get all our checklist testing done today and take the IVF class next week. I think I'll start a diary once I start stimming.

Running 9 miles tomorrow morning and than have a bday party in Soho tom night. DH is going to the open on Sunday, so I get a me day! Maybe mani pedi?

I haven't been on much lately as work is getting in the way. I will be finished with my "big project" next Friday and then the Summer can officially start for me

We are on our break but I am o'ing now so I hope we can take advantage of it this weekend I started taking lots of supplements in the hope that by the time IVF rolls around my eggs may be in better shape.

We just finished the paperwork to enroll in DH's insurance which is Empire Plan so IVF should be on the cards for us in 3 months.

ETA: Welcome Makin-da-Baby. I hope your stay here is short.

I'm sorry, Christine, that you didn't have luck this time. Fingers crossed for your next cycle.

Suzy: 40 is great - it's the year after that suck$.

What am I doing today? I'm cleaning up my classroom while my students take their finals. Only 4 days to go!!!!!!
I will be working in July, but no students, so it's still a vacation.

Can't wait to start my cycle!

Good morning, ladies! (is it still morning if McDonald's stopped serving breakfast??)

AFM this weekend... I got massive blood work done at Enzo labs today for Dr. B. The lady was like, "Wow- are you sure you want all of these? I need to look these up... ok, I think I have everything right". I am praying that things don't get messed up! Cleaning the house now while DH is at work. We are going to dinner/movie tonight. I think we're seeing Star Trek... DH's choice, but I'll survive :)

Tomorrow is yard work in the morning, surprise party for a friend in the afternoon, and DH's brother is coming out from Queens for the night.

Sunday is church, lunch, and yard work.

Low key, but a good weekend. I hope everyone else has a great weekend!!

I am just going with the flow as most of you know.. off this month and starting IVF in august! feels like a long time from now.. but hey , whats another month or 2 right?!
