Let's share funny/embarassing TTC stories!

I've posted about feeling myself up on the LIRR and about the receptionist at a massage place talking about my TTC in a full waiting room, but last night DH and I had a funny moment.

We're away right now and I've been hesitant to drink because I don't know where I am in cycle. I either O'd super early or having extremely delayed O due to being sick (UTI). I had some spotting Sun-Monday and so decided to test this am--BFN!

But last night we went to the drugstore to get a test and DH wanted to pick up a bottle of wine for our room. First I set the alarm off with the box of tests because I got too close to the door--so now everyone's looking at me. Then we go to the register with a bottle of red and a box of FR. The face on the cashier was priceless! lol:

So what's your story?

The first thing that came to my mind was this: 

Back in October, DH and I went to Costa Rica to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.  We were new to TTC (at this point it was pretty much just us not trying NOT to). I had gotten a new camera and was reading the manual on the plane ride over.  Well, it kept constantly referring to the Automatic Flash as “AF” so naturally as I’m reading this in my head, I keep saying “Aunt Flow” in my mind.  I was giggling to myself and DH thought I was crazy.  THEN, we get to our destination and all along the roads are giant bill boards for what must be the major Costa Rican car rental company (like Enterprise or Hertz for us) and in giant letters was the companies name – “POAS”.   I’m sure you all know how I was reading that one in my mind.  I tried letting DH in on the joke but he didn’t seem to find it as humorous as I did.I guess it’s not really an embarrassing TTC story, but funny to myself nonetheless.
