Re: For those that don't go on NFR-Michael Jackson...
I heard this on the way to the store. So sad I have very fond memories growing up listening to his music with my dad. Between this and what my dad is going through, it's really upsetting for me

me too and have very fond memories listening to his records on my little record player as a kid ....yes im showing my age
but they dont have pop icons nowadays for our kids to grow up to and that makes me sad
i respect him for the memories i have as a kid and the icon he once was .....
may he RIP along with the demons that haunted him and others

thank you.... I thought I was the only person. I won't mourn MJ. I was beginning to think I was a mean person for feeling that way.
On the flip side, I have tremendous empathy for Farrah and Ed

Re: For those that don't go on NFR-Michael Jackson...
I guess... but I would be incredibly dishonest if I said I felt differently.
IMO, nothing bad was written in any of the above posts.... so nothing was in poor taste.

You do not have to say anything....I think it is distasteful, especially minutes after the world of his death hit the media to say you do not feel bad, will not mourn or have no respect for him...those comments are in poor taste
just my opinion, of course, say whatever you want but I was kind of taken aback by some of the comments (not just by you) ...that's all

one really could go the other way with the comments as well and this could get very ugly....quickly.
i was NOT trying to be nasty or distasteful in any way and apologize if it was taken that way. I think Tara put it best - i mourn the person he was before he became what he did...but the person he became is not one that i would ever 'mourn' or 'miss'...and to say otherwise would to not be honest...

My intention is not for this to get nasty....I said how I feel......nothing more needs to be said
Apparently, I am in the minority with my feelings , so you are all good
