Very funny.
Although I found the shoveled out spot notes funny. I wonder how long they left the chair or barrel in the spot though b/c I'm pretty sure most of my neighbors would not even think twice about moving something out of the way to park. There's no holding spots around here

I love the chicago v. NY one. So if you shovel, it's yours? Yeah, never happen in NY.

That's so funny because I wanted to leave a note on this POS 1990something BMW that took FOUR spots at Stop and Shop!!!! So annoying!!!!!!

i love it.
Remember those little tiny avon lipstick samples? My friend's mother had bags and bags of them and gave them to us to play with. I saved a bag (several hundred) and I always have a hideous shade of red in my purse just in case I need to leave a parking note. I usually just write A+ parking backwards on the windshield, so they see it the correct way when they get in the car.
I did a realllly bad thing once, about 8-9 yrs ago - someone parked sooooo close to my driver side that they scraped my rear fender pulling in. I had white paint scrapes on my black car, and the car next to me was nice and white.  I poured a whole bottle of clear nail polish onto the wipers. I wonder what happened when they were turned on?

I personally never left a note but I did see one time while waiting for the light to change a car had the words "No Parking" in big letter keyed (sp?) on the entire left side of their car. I was like  Now that's ballsy.
