For 2nd Birthdays -

What was your party theme?

I was thinking I would go with Elmo this year but now I'm not so sure. We did Backyardigans last year.

He also loves Dora and Yo Gabba Gabba (but I'm not doing a Dora party for a little boy lol)

Can you share your table centerpieces if you had them?

Thanks!

Re: For 2nd Birthdays -

We are doing Elmo/Sesame Street for Thomas' 2nd.

We did Winnie the Pooh for his first, and then at like 13 months, he developed his obession with Elmo which is still going strong!

We are doing Cars. There is some really cute stuff out there for it and he does like the movie, so it worked out.

ETA: Now I want to do Yo Gabba Gabba b/c I think it will freak out my family, but the invites are out alreadyChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: For 2nd Birthdays -

DS is still going strong with Backyardigan's but if I never see another Backyardigan's balloon it will be too soon.

I'm trying to sway him towards Thomas but he's still not interested.

Kaitee wasn't into any characters before her second birthday but she LOVED singing twinkle twinkle little start so we did a star theme. She loved it!

For DS we did the Cars movie for his 2nd and this year Thomas the train.

For DD I am doing Minnie Mouse. She loves so many characters but I love how she says "Ohhh Tottlessss" so I went with it.

Re: For 2nd Birthdays -

We did Elmo for his First Birthday. Got an awesome cake from Black Forest Bakery in lindenhurst. Was thinking of doing Thomas this year. He is totally obsessed right now. If the obsession stays around another month and a half, it will be Thomas for sure.
Otherwise maybe Diego since Dora is his next favorite thing but maybe too girly. He calls Diego Dora anyway!!!

Re: For 2nd Birthdays -

We are on the same boat except DS is STILL into the Backyardigans.

He does have a Nemo stuffed animal and "Mike" from Monsters, Inc. that he goes to bed with. He loves them both (although could not care less about the actual movie) so I may do a theme with that.
