can we talk about 2nd birthdays...
Anyone having 2nd bday parties for their DC?
If so - what are you doing (or did you do if it passed).

now that we have a house, we plan on a backyard partyu for Bella's b-day in September...nothing crazy, but a little bigger.
we had a small immediate family only party last year for her 1st.

We'll do something in the backyard--I want smaller than we had for the first (which was pretty big!), but DH wants the same size.
Either way, I'm going to do a Sesame Street theme.

Julia's 2nd b-day is coming up soon!!
I'm having a smaller party this year, her 1st b-day was big (pony rides-petting zoo).
This year its a pool party (praying for good weather), and I'm having blues clues come, and the theme is Dora the Explorer.

I had Ava's 2nd birthday at The Pet Den in Commack. They did a great job. The adults seemed to like it as much as the kids...
Even though her Birthday is in July, I have a small house and worry about bad weather.

I had Gianna's second birthday party at home with catered food and a sesame street theme. It was small and easy.

For my son's 2nd bday in March I had a family party on his actual bday and then had a party at a local play gym with about 10-12 kids. We had an Elmo theme (Pinata, balloons, favor boxes and cake)
DS first birthday was pretty big

I had Jared's birthday in our backyard. I made all the food and my dh BBQed it.
We had about 20 something people...

Last year we had about 40-50 this year probably about 20-25.

Alex's 2nd is in September - we have a really nice, large, secluded backyard, with patio, so we'll probably just have a backyard BBQ/party. That's what we did for her 1st, and it was really fun.

We just had Joey's 2nd bday party 2 weeks ago. I had it in my yard for about 50 people. We hired a petting zoo and pony rides through Lollipop Ponies- they were excellent! We also borrowed a bouncy house thingy ( ) and we made tons of food (me and my mom).
