food question
quick question I have a friend who is a new preggo and we were going to a baseball game and she said someone told her not to eat hotdogs and someone else said that was BS. . anyone know the answer?
and of course since the verdict is out for me for another few days - I guess I should know too!

This is true. My friend is preggo and her doctor told her not to eat hot dogs.

Yup! Both my friends who had babies recently were told by their ob/gyns not to eat hot dogs. The nitrates in them are not good for pregnancy.

My OB said I could eat them if I want to but I don't eat beef so that really isn't a big deal. But he said as long as I don't eat 5 of them in one sitting hot dogs are fine. But every doctor is different as far as what they recommend.
