I am fine with bread and plain plain foods, but every little thing triggers me.. I normally LOVE Peanut butter but I coudlnt even open the jar the other day  and I also have to work on drinking more water, I am HORRIBLE at keeping myself hydrated

i miss u girls! altho i cant relate to the pregnancy thing... its sucha interesting topic, by the time im preggo i will be a professioinal, i can even chart my period/ovulation thanks to u ladies lmao... better the anything i learned in school lemme tell ya hahaha

I think it has something to do with hormones and such. FOr the LONGEST time I had never thrown up. Then I get gallstones and end up with a gallbladder attack which I violently threw up. Then the next year, I get the flu and puke up mac and cheese. It's become easier for me to yak, but I still don't do it often.
I've only puked once this PG due to a migraine. Nausea is a different story. I can get nausea on a regular basis!

I hear ya Flee!! I hate drinking it too. It stinks but its very good for the baby.

Yeah...it's the hormones. It affects some women differently than others and it can vary from pregnancy to pregnancy with the same woman, even regardless of the sex of the baby. Although...many people believe that if you are pg with a girl you get more m/s than when you are pg with a boy.

Oh Flee and boosh.....I SO hate drinking water. I was told ice pops, 100% fruit juice (Juicy Juice), foods/fruits that contain water (cucumbers, watermelon).

Oh you DO have so much to look forward to!  You just don't know though how your body will behave when you're PG. Even if you do get m/s, it will pass.

Ahh I am missing out on my own thread
BUT i just re-read everthing and have learned a lot !!
Shana THANK you for those tips, seriously the first week or so after my BFP I nearly fainted right on the street in NYC (this was because I wasn't drinking enough AND it was so darned hot) and when I got home, Dh yelled at me when he heard how little I'd drank all day.. now I carry my water bottel with me everywhere!
BUT i must find alternatives, I seriously hate drinking that much.. i get so full and bloated so fast
As for Sandra's theory.. I NEVER puke (sorry TMI) I am a very rare puker, I can "will mysefl" not to be sick.. so this has taken me by surprise that I"ve gotten sick a couple times alread
BUt YET Its all for the good of carrying this little peanut!!

LOL - yes you were MIA for while there! Hydration is SO important while PG - so is eating. You're doing great by carrying a water bottle around - just keep it up!
Ah well, there goes my theory!

Let's hope not!! I thought I would be too since I used to get sick just from taking my BCPs on an empty stomach -- I figured similar type of hormone rush so I'd be a sickie while pg-- but I was wrong. But then, we know how good my theories are by now!
ETA: I got so sick from my BCP once that I puked and then fainted!!
