Hiya chica 
I am good, this is actually the first night in over a week I am up past 9pm  if that gives you some indication on how the exhaustion has hit me!
Anthony isnt home yet from work  so I am just finally getting in some evening LIFs time
How are YOU? How is Jake? Any new pics

Aww... yes I remember the tiredness! You get some good sleep in now while you can. I guess first trimester exhaustion is nature's way of forcing you to sleep in preparation for all the sleep you are going to LOSE once the baby gets here! 
I'm doing good despite the lack of sleep. It's worth it. Poor Jake had his first shots today!! He's out right now but he'll be up in about 1/2 hr for his bottle so I have a little LIF time tonight.

Sandra everyone is telling me that, to get my rest NOW because once the baby is here my sleeping late days are OVER!
Glad Jake is being a good boy (so far) and glad to hear YOU are doing well too! I hope he is better from his shots
Shana - thank you sweetie! I am soo nervous yet excited about my appointment next week, I finally want to see this kid once and for all

I dunno how long morning sickness lasts, you'd have to ask the experts .. Shana, Sandra.. so far all I konw is that I don't really have the BAD M.S. but I just feel nauseous ALL THE TIME .. like a constant feeling (morning, noon and night) of NO appetite and queasiness...
I think it generally lets up once you enter your 2nd trimester

It's going to be so amazing when you see that little peanut for the first time!
Can I just tell you - - when Jake got his shots today he started crying and I said "oh...he has tears for the first time!" So the Dr handed me a tissue and she goes "Not for the baby, for YOU!"

Aww Sandra, that's sweet. I remember when Alia got her first shots, I felt so bad for her it truly broke my heart to see her in pain.

Flee - I never had it bad either. I was nauseous for about 2 weeks and that was it.

Well I truly cannot ****** like some of the other pregnant ladies, I only got "sick, sick" (sorry TMI) a couple times, otherwise I just feel that constant state of nausea.. its not like 24-7 hurling, like some of those other poor girls get
BUT its enough to make me feel 'icky' all the time, and unfortunately my diet STINKS because all that does agree with me is CARBS (i.e. FATTENING) bread, potatoes, rice, etc.. already my diet is AWFUL!

Try the following: wintergreen lifesavers (wintergreen makes me feel less nauseous)
my best friend said jelly beans
and go for the carbs....as long as you are getting fluids fluids fluids!

I agree Felicia - go for the carbs at least for now. If you can stomach it, try for a little protein with them (string cheese or something simple like that) but don't stress. Here's hoping that ickiness goes away quickly!!

I think about you all the time. I am glad to hear you are doing well. Don't worry the exhaustion usually leaves after the first trimester - at least that's what I've heard !
