Flashlight to the belly-Did you do it?
Ok ladies, who put the flashlight to their bellies last night, did you feel anything? Did DH think you were nuts?

Actually my boyfriend would sneak up on me, or wait till I was opening the door to come out of the bathroom or something and turn on the flashlight on my belly! And I did start feeling baby squirm away - but I don't know if that was because of the light or because I would gasp and scream because he would scare the *#)$^ out of me when he did it! Aaaahhhh... the games we play!!!

I tried but did not have a flashlight that worked  I went through 4 flashlights and each one needed batteries. Good thing we werent having a blackout.
So no flashlight fun last night

OMG me 3, I can't tell you how FRUSTRATING that was, and DH was out for the evening so I couldn't even send him for batteries.
I'm picking one up on the way home today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mother always told me to put a very light paper plate with popcorn on my belly so when the baby kicks, you would see the popcorn move. I haven't tried it yet but it is a great idea.

Im just thinking that after the "experiment" is done, at least we get a nice snack - and perhaps an easier bowel movement. Yeah Yeah I know TMI. Too bad. I get a free pass this week.

i tried putting the remote on my belly but it moves with my breathing so i couldnt really see the kicks

My husband tried it last night but little baby was sleeping soundly. He wants to try again tonight. The funniest part was when my husband put the flashlight to his OWN belly to see how it would look.
