Fla Vor Ice Pops

Do these ice pops taste any good? I remember having them when I was younger but I have been hearing they taste horrible these days.

Re: Fla Vor Ice Pops

oh good lol...I want to pass them out at dc's birthday party so I'm looking to get 2 huge boxes of them. I just want to make sure they don't taste horrible. Maybe I'm thinking of a different brand with that horrible after taste.

I buy them for us all the time. I love letting them melt and drinking the juice.

Still just as good in my book!

Same here, Dh came home with them last week and we've been eating a few a day! They are so good, especially in the summertime!!

Re: Fla Vor Ice Pops

just sugar water. and the sugar free version is just artificial sweetener/chemicals. they're OK, but i don't eat them and I wouldn't feed them to my child. I look for real fruit bars...omg, the lime is amazing!

I like to suck the juice out of the ice, then when I get about 3/4 of the way down - I smush it till it's all melty and drink it.

It's just not the same if I were to just refrigerate them!

I do the same thing!

The ones that I do not like are the imitation ones.

I must be in the minority here because I loved them as a kid, but they definitely taste different to me. Chat Icon My kids don't like them, which kind of stinks because I bought one of those large boxes from Costco. Chat Icon

Yeah, same here.

I make my own frozen yogurt pops with fruit.
Yogurt, frozen blueberries/raspberries, flax seed, a bit of agave nectar to sweeten them... pour into molds and YUM!!

Chat Icon I hate them. They're like frozen crayons. Even as a kid I wasn't a huge fan. I'd always rather have an Italian ice.

Re: Fla Vor Ice Pops

I like them. I was absolutely ADDICTED to them when i was first pregnant with Robbie. I'd go through 10 of them at a time. They aren't as delicious as real fruit bars - or homemade frozen juice by ANY stretch.. but they are refreshing, sweet and tasty.
