Fish sticks yay or nay?
We want to try giving the kids more fish. Anyone give their kids fish sticks? Like the Gordon’s brand? I’ve never had a fish stick

Re: Fish sticks yay or nay?
Gorton's fish sticks were my oldest's (and pickiest) favorite dinner for a long time. I just squirt on fresh lemon. Now my 3yo likes them but not the older one.
My mom fishes so we eat a lot of fresh fish in summer but no luck getting the kids to eat it yet. I've tried homemade fish sticks but no dice.
I think Dr. Praegers make little fun shaped ones you could check out too.

They’re not bad. I don’t know how good for you they are if they are the breaded cod ones vs fresh fish... but they are a good transition for kids that may love chicken nuggets and certainly aren’t bad for you!
Try branzino. My kids (all 3) love it and it’s a non fishy tasting fish. If you aren’t a chef (I don’t like cooking fish), this is pretty popular at Greek restaurants.

My DS used to eat those! I haven’t bought them in so long and forgot they exist but now that I have a newborn at home and need simple dinners back in my life again, I hope he’ll wrill agree to eat them haha.

Fish sticks yay or nay?
When I was a kid I hated fish sticks. But we recently tried them in our air fryer and they weren't bad - they got nice and crispy. My 5 year old still didn't like them, but my 2 year old did.

My kids like fish, and for a quick dinner, I will do the Gorton's grilled filets. I've also bought fish from Shop Rite and had them cook it while I shop. My kids do like fish sticks, but I'm more likely to buy the filets because they have less breading and more fish.

Same! My daughter is super picky and she used to eat the little fishy ones all the time. I should try them again for something quick.

If you want to introduce fish why not just try a mild white fish like cod- my daughter loves fish but will not touch fish sticks. She doesn’t really eat breaded foods.
