We used Steve at Patken for the cake smash and 1st birthday pictures. He was great.

We actually took DS to Target for his 1st Birthday & Cake smash photos.. inexpensive and they did a great job too!

I am using Target too. No cake smash, though. They did my daughter's 3rd b-day pics and they came out great!
ETA: There is a groupon for $25

First Birthday Shoot- Recommendations
I did not do cake smash because my DD has food allergies by I did first Birthday pictures- I used Cathryn Elizabeth photography and I love how the pictures came out. She really captured my daughter's personality. I have thirty images from the shoot and I like every single picture--This is the second time I have worked with her.
