first bike
At what age did you buy your DC their first bike with training wheels? Any reccomendation on where to buy or brand?

She was almost 3.5 and it was for Christmas. We bought it at Toys R Us and they assembled it. We took her to the store beforehand to try out the different sizes so we knew which one to buy.

Did was about 2.5... We never used a tricycle. She started on a 10inch and has a 14inch now (she's 36 inches tall and 3.5 yrs old)

We're planning to get DS one for Christmas. He'll be 4.5. He's been riding a balance bike since 3 though. We'll just got to Target or TRU probably.

We had DS try out some bikes at TRU for his 3rd bday in Sept and he wasn't really into it. So we will wait until the spring probably.

3. She's only really gotten into riding it at almost 4, but it was fun to have for her to practice on every now and then.

I bought my 2.5 year old a tricycle from radio flyer. It has the parent handle. ITS the BEST tricycle ever! No bending down and killing my back. The pedals move even though Im pushing it (you can lock them as well) so she learns the motion.
Now shes 3 and she can pedal herself. I still have the handle on it for when she needs help but its amazing! I love it its the perfect size for her. Not too big.
