Feeling guilty

My FIl is very sick and my DH had to tfly to Poland last Thursday to be with my FIL. (he is still in critical condition and they do not know what is wrong with him) Unfortunately, my DH did not renew his passport he is a Polish citizen and may be stuck there for a month and a half. I feel so guilty b.c of course I am worried about FIL, but I feel really upset that we cant bd the next two months and this is the month after my D&C when you are supposed to be more fertile. I know I am horrible for even thinking about this now, but I cant help it.

OMg I am so sorry, I do hope that your DH is able to come home soon, a month and half is a long ime time (TTC or not!)

I hope your FIL's condition gets better soon as well.

You are not horrible- you are normal, and you are still dealing with a loss of your own and trying to move forward. You can't control your feelings, you can only control your actions, and it sounds like you are a caring person who is doing the best she can given a difficult situation.

Try not to be so hard on yourself- and I hope your DH can get back here soon!

i hope your FIL is going to be ok!!
and i dont think you are wrong for feeling this way about TTC.....i didnt get PG right away after a MC.. i also heard that you are more fertile. and here i am still trying... so dont think that way..and just know that you will get PG again!!

ITA with Jeannine & "Que Sera Sera!" I think that it's only normal that you feel this way, so please don't feel guilty about it. You have nothing to feel guilty about!

Please, try not to be so hard on yourself, you aren't horrible in any way. I hope things go well with your FIL and your DH is able to come home quickly

I'm so sorry you'll be apart from DH for that long. Don't feel guilty about your feelings, you are only being honest. I can't imagine having to deal with so many trying things at the same time. You're being very strong!! Sending lots of your way!!

if there is one thing i've learned with TTC it is that you are more out of control of your feelings than you ever thought possible.

The dorkiest things make me cry, the dumbest things in everyday life hurt my feelings, etc..

I am truly sorry for your FIL & hope he is okay, however, you shouldn't feel badly for how you feel. You can't control those feelings, and at least you are letting them out & sharing with us. It's MUCH healthier than keeping it inside, all bottled up!

some for your FIL.

Don't feel guilty about wanting your DH with you at this time. TTC is very stressful, if you have an increased chance of getting pg it's natural to want to take it.
