Feeling anxious .. UPDATE AT BOTTOM
We are going to a party at my in laws for the SB today and we are telling them all about our BFP.
I dont know why I feel so anxious about it. I dont really like being the center of attention and I know everyone is going to be asking a million questions and they dont know anything about what we have been going through.
Not sure the point of this post, just feels better to talk to you girls about it...

I agree... there is no reason why you have to tell them today.... if you dont want to do it yet then you dont have to...

I agree... there is no reason why you have to tell them today.... if you dont want to do it yet then you dont have to...
Agreed. Besides LIF, I am waiting till my baby's anatomy scan to announce it. Of course everyone is different though and I can see the appeal of wanting to tell sooner- it's just all about preference and comfort level.

Okay, we told :) When we walked in the house everyone was right there in the living room so ,my husband announced .. "We brought another Giants fan" .. and they started looking past us and a second later he said "we're pregnant" and the whole room erupted in yells and clapping. haha It was nice.

Everyone is different . I did not tell my family with any of my pregnancies until after the first trimester. The reason behind it is at that point you are usually out of that risk of m.c. Some people wait until they hear the heartbeat or sonogram. If you have the 'maybe I should wait' feeling you should wait.
