Favorite Netflix show
I feel so behind on shows and now we just got Netflix. I hear great things about so many shows on Netflix, but don't think I have time to go back a lot of seasons. Any good new shows worth getting into that's only on season one or even starting season 2?

Bloodline- excellent and just one season so far
Orange is the New Black
Bates Motel- Excellent and not what you would think
Breaking Bad is awesome but it's a lot of seasons I think
I tried to get into House of Cards because eveyrone RAVES- and I coudln't follow it and was bored to death.
Done
I also tried the Killing and it's just boring the first two episodes
I have short attention span and I am not good with most TV shows

Bates Motel- Excellent and not what you would think

Thanks! You sound like me. DH could watch anything and I tell him after a few shows if it's not good I remove the season pass. We have a ton of room on it but I'm insane that way and like to remove clutter. Lol. Although we have a million kids shows that I have to scroll through to find adult shows.
I'll check them out.

I also like Grace & Frankie, that has Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. 1 season so far, I thought the episodes were very funny.
I really enjoyed Bloodline also.

It was SO tough getting through those first 2 episodes.
It was so political and I just HATE politics.

Favorite Netflix show
I really liked Sense8. I've been on a British show kick (watching Vicar of Dibley, but it's almost 20 years old) - Luther, The Fall, Black Mirror, etc. Also Call the Midwife, Friends, Arrested Development, OITNB, Marvel's Daredevil (I'm a huge Marvel fan), and lots of movies & documentaries.
I tried Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and House of Cards, but I just couldn't get into it (really didn't like Kimmy and HOC was too slow).

You didn't like The Killing??? LOOOOOOOOOVED that show, OMG!!............it was amazing!!! DH and I had to literally drag ourselves away from the tv at night to go to bed, EVERY episode made me want to get to the next one. You should go back to it, it's one of my most favorite shows EVER.

My most FAVORITE how EVER!! Edge of your seat awesomeness!!
Oh!!!...........and the first few seasons of Weeds was SO good!! Then it jumped the shark!
I also really enjoyed The Affair on Showtime but it's not on Netflix.

We were that MEH about it that we didn't even recall it or want more.
Maybe I need to give shows more of a chance

Both were very good and only one season. One drama, one comedy. Good mix.

You totally do!!  It was really a good one, but dark and moody. If you don't like that kind of dreariness in a show I can see not getting too into it.

Totally! I'm telling you it took me a good 5 or 6 episodes to fall in love. I hate political shows and I hate when they talk to the camera like that. I was like No way, this blows. Now I'm pissed when we miss a night lol

I just got Netflix myself and I LOVE IT !! I never have time to watch anything and if I do I can't make anything out with the kids around. I love that I can watch whatever anytime.
The very first show I watched which was SO entertaining was Breaking Bad. I also enjoyed:
House of Cards
Orange is the new Black
Lily Hammer
Lost ( in the middle of season 5 now)
Walking Dead (early in the first season) not crazy about the zombie show but every once in awhile I'll watch a show
I love that reading rainbow is on there for the kids and the Munsters. So much, enough to keep me entertained. There is no reason for me to have cable honestly.

Just read your post again I see your looking for short seasons I wouldn't recommend Lost then. I did see How to get Away With Murder new to Netflix. I think that's fairly new show and Ive heard great reviews.
