Now that Mother's day is over, anyone have any ideas for a good father's day gift for a first time father????

I'm thinking of hunting down a NFL outfit for DD to wear with him this fall and a GC to dunkin donuts. He goes to DD for coffee and breakfast when DD has him running late.

ugh i feel you..my DHs 30th birthday is the day after fathers day and i have no idea on both of them..he doesnt want a party for his birthday either

It really had no special meaning other than being a 'big' gift but I got DH an Ipad for his first Father's Day. I got diamond earrings so I figured I should get him something extra nice too. He loved it. At the Apple store they were even able to make the screen say Happy Fathers Day when he turned it on.

For my dh first fathers day, I had s small 5x5 canvas print made of the picture of him holding DS for the first time. I added a poem on.top of the picture. Got it all from personalizationmall.com.

First fathers day, I had dd put her hand prints on poster board and I put a bunch of his fave pictures of dd and dh in 8 x 10's in frames and hung them all around the house. We went out to eat.
This year I will schedule a family photo shoot for him and his two girls. I'm also getting him day out fishing on a charter boat for him and his dad that weekend. Groupon or living social usually has great deals.

Dh loves to fish so he wants waders (you know those rubber overalls). Thats what he wants thats what he'll get! I think its ridiculous but oh well! HAHA

It's at nassau colliseum on June 4th....depends on what seats you want but I remember the $25 seats were sold out. the next level up i believe were the $30 seats.
ETA so it would be like an early father's day gift since its before
