Extremely thirsty?
Hi ladies! Was anyone extremely thirsty in the beginning of their pregnancy? I used to not be very thirsty throughout the day and would force myself to drink water but lately I can't get enough!!

I barely ever drank anything prior to becoming pregnant....like I would barely even drink during meals etc.
When I became pregnant I craved HUGE glasses of ice water ALL the time. It lasted throughout my whole pregnancy too!

Yes!
And sometimes if I'm out somewhere, I become overcome with thirst and absolutely have to get a bottle of water immediately! It's so weird!

I'm thirsty the WHOLE pregnancy! Like, my water glass holds 24oz and I refill it constantly throughout the day. I never leave the house w/o water either!!

Not so much now, but during first trim I felt like someone was sucking all the moisture out of my mouth and I couldn't get enough water.

same exact thing happens to me. I'll be shopping or running errands and a thirst would hit me like a ton of bricks and I had to get a drink at that moment or I feel like I'm gonna pass out or something

ME TOO! Ice cold water is what I drink all day long. I empty my 32 oz cup at least twice a day.

Yes, I was thirsty all the time. I already drank a lot of water before becoming pregnant. When I told my doctor about the excessive thirst, he said to drink DOUBLE the amount that I craved. I had severe m/s and I was very lucky because I usually kept down water and sometimes only water. That really saved me!!!!

OMG it is awful, more so at night! I almost can't sleep at night because all I want to do is drink water, and than after I do I am not satisfied and need more or I dry out so quickly!

I was a big-time water drinker before getting pregnant but I can honestly say I crave it now...I feel like I can't get enough of ice cold water!!!!! It is the first thing I grab when I wake up....
